Because of charcoal’s porous and absorbent nature, it is highly inadvisable for a person taking chemical medication to drink charcoal unless they first consult with their pharmacist.
Activated charcoal will not interfere with vitamin, mineral, or nutrition uptake into the body from foods. Supplements that are naturally derived will not be affected by charcoal. If they are synthetic one would have to assume the charcoal might react with them.
