Located in the southwestern region of Antioquia, Colombia, Santa Barbara Estate was founded nearly three decades ago by Don Pedro Echavarria with a vision of producing exceptional Colombian coffee for the world to enjoy. Today, that vision continues to inspire everyone who is part of the Santa Barbara Estate family.

Santa Barbara Estate is one of the few fully integrated coffee farms in Colombia, allowing for complete traceability and meticulous quality control—from the coffee cherry on the tree to the finished coffee delivered to BCR.

A unique combination of climate, altitude, rich volcanic soil, careful cultivation, and ongoing tree renovation creates ideal conditions for producing outstanding coffee. Through education and incentive programs, the Estate’s dedicated workers are encouraged to prioritize quality over quantity, ensuring that every step of the process receives the attention it deserves.

Advanced wet- and dry-milling technology, combined with meticulous processing and daily cup testing, allows Santa Barbara Estate to consistently deliver a remarkable Colombian coffee with exceptional quality and character.
