Dense forest cover creates a cool, misty microclimate that slows cherry maturation and helps shield the coffee from extreme weather.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLocated just above Lake Kivu, Kanzu sits beneath the forested slopes overlooking the watershed and lake below. The combination of high elevation and unique climate plays a major role in the distinctive flavor development of these coffees.
